Fae Roundtable Domain, Avalon le Fae
…Or so it was believed.
But the Observation Lens Sheba projects a different future: the imminent collapse of the planet itself, triggered by the sixth Lostbelt.
There is hardly any time left until the planet’s demise. To prevent this untimely end, Chaldea sets foot in a mystical island inhabited by faeries—the British Lostbelt.
Welcome to the World of Faerie Britain
The British Lostbelt originated in 12,000 BC and has existed for 14,000 years. Its divergence from Proper Human History is the absence of the Holy Sword. Sefar—a colossal, anti-civilization alien weapon—wiped out 80% of the Earth’s surface and destroyed most of the ancient gods. Six faeries were originally tasked with foraging Excalibur to be a weapon to fight back against Sefar, but chose not to because they were lazy. Sefar therefore destroyed the entire surface of the planet and became a sea of nothingness. Cernunnos was sent from the Inner Sea of the Planet to punish the faeries for not completing their mission, but it felt like they had suffered enough and allowed them to live upon its body alongside the last surviving human who served as its priestess. The faeries, however, were ungrateful and decided to kill Cernunnos with poison and live upon its body—this became the land of Faerie Britain.

Faerie Britain is the only landmass in this Lostbelt, as the rest of the planet is still the sea of nothingness based on Sefar’s destruction. Upon murdering Cernunnos, the six faeries also tore the priestess into six pieces, which each faerie clan would then clone into additional humans to nourish their kingdoms. The cloned humans only have a lifespan of 30 years because she was 30 when they tore her apart. 14,000 years later, humans are still cloned from the original priestess and are treated as livestock used solely for faerie pleasure. As a result of both of these things and the fact that faeries are born from nature, there are no human civilizations, and no concepts of other countries, families, parents or children. Faeries only mimic human civilization from Proper Human History based on knowledge they gained from their queen.

High Queen Morgan has been the tyrannical ruler of Faerie Britain for the last 2,000 years. She is a cold and ruthless ruler that only cares about the land of Britain itself, not the faeries who inhabit it. The faeries tolerate her brutal rule because she protects them from a series of calamities that have been plaguing Britain since its very creation. By the time that Chaldea arrives at the British Lostbelt, the Tree of Emptiness is dead—yet Faerie Britain still persists. Time also flows differently here; Chaldea has 24 hours before the Lostbelt self-destructs and takes the outside world with it, but they estimate they have approximately 50 days with of Faerie Britain time before that happens.
