Faerie Clans
The original faeries who murdered Cernunnos eventually became heads for the six major clans in Faerie Britain: the Wing Clan, Fang Clan, Earth Clan, Wind Clan, Rain Clan, and Mirror Clan. The bodies of the original faeries became the Bells of Pilgrimage upon their deaths. Important to note is that the Rain Clan was wiped out many years prior to Chaldea arriving at the British Lostbelt, and the King Clan inherited its relative position in the pilgramage completed by the Faerie of Paradise. Earth Clan - Highly pragmatic, materialistic and industrious, while also deeply stubborn and swayed by greed. These faeries are dwarf-likfe in appearance (short and stocky) and are the blacksmiths and builders of Faerie Britain. Spriggan is the current Head of the Earth Clan, and they reside in Norwich.
Fang Clan - Militaristic, competitive and physically strong—often to the point of being fiercely territorial and aggressive due to bloodlust. These faeries are beast-like in appearance (often resembling anthropormophic wolves, bears, or leopards) and are the core component of Morgan's army. Woodwose is the current Head of the Fang Clan, and they are based in Oxford.
King Clan - These faeries are different than the others because they are not one of the original six ancestral faerie lineages. Because of this, their appearance and characteristics vary, and they are more of a political faction of the North. They possess a unique spiritual independence and unyielding pride, refusing to participate in Morgan's rule. These faeries initially followed Mab, and currently are led by her descendant Cnoc na Riabh in the city of Edinburgh.
Mirror Clan - Mystical seers, keepers of truth, and highly etherial and mysterious. These faeries had a distinct spiritual radiance and had the ability of absolute divination to see the future. Their inability to lie, see things for what they are, and foresight abilities threatened both Aurora and Morgan, so they were completely wiped out by Tam Lin Lancelot on Aurora's secret orders. The Mirror Clan's bell is located in Londinium.
Rain Clan - Deeply empathetic, altruistic, and good-natured. These faeries were genuinely peaceful and did not inherit the toxicity/selfishness of the others. They were the clan that took care of young Morgan before she became the savior. However, the other five original clans looked at the Rain Clan with suspicion and fear and united together to completely erase them from history overnight. The Rain Clan's bell is located in Orkney.
Wind Clan - Diplomatic, beautiful and graceful, yet prone to deep malice and deceit. These faeries are the most human-looking of the different types and are able to communicate with each other using the wind. Aurora is the current Head of the Wing Clan, and they reside in Salisbury.
Wing Clan - Elegant, yet fragile to the point of being highly vulnerable. These faeries are typically small in size and have transparent, insect-like wings. They historically were focused on domestic arts like sewing and tailoring, but were almost completely wiped out by the Fang Clan. Murian is the sole representative left and she resides in the clan's historical area of Gloucester.
