Welcome to Voyage, the approved fanlisting for Emiya Shirou from the Fate/Stay Night, including the Unlimited Blade Works anime and the Heaven's Feel movies. Shirou also has prominant roles in the Today's Menu for the Emiya Family and Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya anime. Not sure what a fanlisting is? Version one of Voyage features an anime scan of Shirou. All other aspects of the layout were made by me or default to the Mac version of Adobe Photoshop 2024, with the exception of fonts downloaded from Dafont and a few brushes from WeGraphics.
I have no regrets. This is the only path.
Emiya Shirou is the protagonist of the Fate/Stay Night visual novel, anime, and manga. On the surface, Shirou is a kind guy who is always willing to help others. He's good at cooking, repairing anything electric, and even archery. His dream is to become a hero of justice who is able to save everyone—something his adoptive father was unable to do. Once Shirou becomes the master of Saber in the Holy Grail War, however, it becomes more apparent that his willingness to help others is deeply rooted in his own survivor's guilt and an extreme lack of concern for his own wellbeing.
Shirou is a character that I have a long history with, as my first exposure to the Fate series was through the original Fate/Stay Night anime in 2007. Frankly, I was not a fan of Shirou at all. His character suffered from the culture of society and anime at the time. I began to appreciate him a little more when watching Unlimited Blade Works many years later, and even more when the Heaven's Feel movies were in theaters. I found myself reflecting on the full picture of his character across the three storylines (in addition to some of his other appearances in related series) and realized I more than appreciated him...he was one of my favorite Fate characters!
I had always been planning to make something on the web for Archer, but I now have expanded my plans to have a full Emiya shrine to cover his full character in various roles. Given the announcement of Fate/Stay Night's visual novel being officially translated into English, I'll probably wait until that is out before I seriously start working on the shrine. I am looking forward to it, though!
